Bright Spirit depicts a soft blue & white Iris softly curling & undulating it's delicate petals. While painting it, I experienced such a lovely feeling of tranquility. My 9 year old son came home from school a bit upset &  sat in front of the painting just after I had finished it. After about half an hour he asked me "Mummy, can 8 name this painting please?" I asked what he would like to call it. " I want to call it Bright Spirit" he said "Because I was really sad, and looking at it now I feel as if my heart has lifted and I'm ok.. The name just sort of came into my head. "So it was named and continues to send out waves of positive feelings all around it.
