About this painting: 'The skies are bigger in Devon', my son once said to me after we had moved here. You know, I think he is right. The sheer splendour of some of the sunsets we get is amazing & painting them is always a joy. This particular one was just up the road & I had to pul up in the car, get out & just stand there for 20 minutes oohing & aaahing. The original painting was commissioned by a local couple who also love the skies here,
