About this painting: Hibiscus always remind me of holidays in hot climates. They feel so exotic as their tissue paper petals open up with curling , dancing edges like the skirts on a flamenco dancer. I loved the colours of this one & couldn't resist immortalising it as a big Hibiscus flower painting. Its tones of deep pink, peaches, ambers & reds are full of warm, as if those petals would reach out & embrace me with the summer sun.
