About this painting: Wandering through the paths & flowerbeds of RHS Wisley in late Spring, I always come across banks of these simply lovely Iris. by the banks of ponds they grow in profusion & I'm enchanted by their simplicity.
The soft warm blue is such a relaxing colour & sitting amongst them I'm taken off into dreams & thoughts. The Iris give the illusion that they are dancing in the breeze, their petals softly swaying.
Dreamer is a quiet, gentle painting exuding calm & soothing into into it's space. Framed behind glass, you can choose the finish of the wooden frame fron a soft white, natural pale wood or dark stained wood. The painting itself is set on a 3cm plinth which stands proud from the mount & gives the illusion of a canvas.
