Lunch provided- A delicious lunch will be provided using locally sourced organic produce.

Ability level- Suitable for all levels from beginners to more experienced artists
Workshop- Creating energising, uplifting Art , inspired by Nature
Working in a small group of max 8 participants at the artists home in Harbeton, near Totnes. Surrounded by uplifting Art, eclectic collections and stunning scenery the day will be all about tuning in to your creativity in a light & carefree environment. The workshop will not only teach you new skills and awaken the creative within you but also be fun and sociable in a small group of likeminded people
10am- Welcome & introduction over a drink and snack
10.20 am Colour theory, playing with colours and learning to understand how different colours affect our mood and work together
12.30pm- 1.15 break for lunch. Students are free to take their lunch anywhere in the artists home to look at art or to wander on the floral terrace or the 6 acres of gardens.
11.30- 3.30 pm Creating experimental Art inspired by the colours and flora of the season. Using a range of materials to release our creativity and play with line and colour.
Anita will work with you and demonstrate different techniques to create beautiful images which touch the senses and uplift the spirits.
Although the work will be based on being inspired by the colours and flora of the season, the resulting work may range from figurative depictions to very loose abstract images as you play with the materials and tune in to your creativity.
3.30pm Review of the day, taking photos of our work & sharing our experiences
Anita Nowinska is a successful professional artist, known internationally for her large paintings which investigate how colour from nature affects mood and wellbeing.
Her paintings of flowers, gardens and nature use vivid colour to up,fit and inspire. She has in depth experience of working with people at all levels of experience to tap into their creativity and use it bring balance and inspiration to their lives.
The course will also introduce a longer Art training programme which includes workshops, online learning, projects and 1:1 help and learning
