About this Painting: Commissioned for a Ruby Wedding anniversary gift from Husband to wife. Irises are a subject which I return to again & again, with the pale blue colours being amongst my favourites.
The meaning behind Irises are always so significant to my work & life & the pale blues & soft lilac colours being so relaxing & calming. The soft undulating & curling petals hold so much softness & movement, I find them entrancing.
